Miraj Restaurant Reviews
The food was yummy, authentic bangladeshi taste. The owner was very kind to us , we ate lunch and came back for dinner too.
I recently tried the biryani and chicken samosas, and I must say – absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and authentic, just like homemade. The biryani was perfectly spiced with generous portions, and the chicken samosas were crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling inside. The quantity was great for the price, and every bite felt satisfying. On top of that, the service was excellent – fast, friendly, and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, high-quality South Asian food. Will definitely be ordering again!
If you're looking to dive into authentic Bengali cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Overall, this restaurant is a gem for anyone wanting to explore the rich tapestry of Bengali flavors. Highly recommended!
Miraj has authentic Bangladeshi food! Last night I took my friends from Seattle and BC to treat them with bengali food. The food was finger licking tasty. We ate Irish, rui, Kacchi, chicken roast and the best item-kalabhuna. We ate so much food! The price was very reasonable. The quality of the food and portion was top notch! The owner and his wife put a lot of love when they cook and serve food. The wait time was super quick. Must try their tea, even that is super tasty! Highly recommended.
We visited this restaurant during our stopover in Calgary because we were craving Bangladeshi food. This restaurant had authentic Bangladeshi food that tasted just like home. We ordered a number of items and will rank our favourites: 1. Kala Bhuna (our favorite dish of the day) 2. Beef Tehari (2nd favorite) 3. Kacchi w/ lamb shank (3rd favorite but close 2nd) 4. Murog pulao (good. Tasted a little sweet but perfect for the little one who can't handle the spice Overall a good visit. The young gentleman at the counter was super helpful and chatty and made recommendations and we agreed wholeheartedly with his tastes buds. We will be back on our next visit to Calgary.
We had a great time! Our group of seven visited from Edmonton and tried a variety of their dishes. The kacchi, curries, kala bhuna, and khichuri were all full of flavor.
I really liked the Bangladeshi vibe there. Moreover, the service was very cordial. I left my bag by mistake. But they kept it safe. Food is good. Remember to ask what is available. Because the menu does not list everything.
There aren't many places in Calgary that serve Bangladeshi food, so it's hard to compare. We tried the kalabhuna with pulao, beef halim, and tehari, and everything was okay,no complaints at all! I'm just happy we have a spot for Bangladeshi cuisine in Calgary
